Peter was such a wonderful person and my mother could have never asked for a better man. He saved us from the Russians, and he was also a great chef.

Chester was a good man, very kind to me and to our son.. He brought me to this country, first to Florida and then here to Monterey. And I was very grateful to him.

My poor son, Herman, he was such a good child. I think God took him, and let him die in his bed so he didn't see the terrible way things were over there in Vietnam.

Donn was so handsome the women would sit at his bar and stare at him. But he was my Budgie. We were married for 42 years and I loved him very much.

There were always a lot of good-time Charlies around when people are successful, but they don't stick around when you might need them. But Margret, she was a good friend.
