BE A PILOT is a non-profit organization formed to educate the public about the benefits of general aviation and flight training. We are supported by aviation companies and organizations dedicated to revitalizing the general aviation industry and creating new student pilots. Using the Internet, cable television advertising and other media resources, we interest prospective pilots and refer them to our participating flight training providers.

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is a national trade association proudly representing over 50 American manufacturers of fixed-wing general aviation aircraft, engines, avionics, and component parts. In addition to building nearly all of the general aviation aircraft flying in the United States, GAMA member companies also operate fleets of aircraft, airport fixed-based operations, and pilot training and maintenance technician training facilities across the nation.

National Business Aviation Association
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), a trade association headquartered in Washington, DC, was founded in 1947 to represent and protect the interests of the business aviation community. NBAA represents over 6,100 companies that own or operate general aviation aircraft as an aid to the conduct of their business, or are involved with business aviation. NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues in excess of $5 trillion -- a number that is about half the gross national product -- and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The Association presents the benefits of business aviation to the general public, and represents Members' interests as the principal advocate and voice for business aviation before Congress, the Administration, state and local governments and the media.
